Meet Paul Kirberbluth

Paul Kirberbluth

Executive VP of Marketing

Paul Kirberbluth is more than a powerhouse of marketing experience and success. He is also a master of the English language. In the early 2000's, Paul coined the term "thought leader" in an improvised board meeting presentation, and all attendees were suitably impressed. As a result, he was later named Thought Leader of the Year by LinkedIn, widely regarded in the marketing field as more prestigious than even the Nobel Prize.

Paul also popularized the use of "paradigm" in every part of speech, specifically the adjective "paradigmatic" to refer to the act of misusing a word in a business setting knowing that your audience won't bother to Google it. And the way people use "impact" as a verb these days, you have Paul to thank for that as well. Among his marketing super-fans, though, Paul is mostly known for making passive voice cool again in the mid 2010's. Let's rephrase that. Passive voice was made cool again by Paul.

"I am not proud of what I've done or what I have become," says Paul, his sunken eyes darkening, "but I get paid enough to numb the pain, so I guess I'm fine."
